Meet Dr. Kim Young

Dr. Kim Young, an Ivy League trained orthodontist, is dedicated to creating life changing smiles. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Young stayed at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a rigorous two-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics where she had extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment planning of all types of malocclusions. During training, Dr. Young was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society.

Dr. Young’s orthodontic philosophy revolves around holistic patient care. She takes into account not only their dental health but also factors like self-confidence and overall physical health and well-being. Incorporating state of the art orthodontic technology, she ensures optimal outcomes while minimizing invasive surgical interventions. Dr. Young collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams and formulates evidence-based treatment plans to deliver the highest quality of care to her patients. Dr. Young is passionate about orthodontics and is committed to giving her patients more reasons to smile.

Dr. Young is an active member of many associations including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association (FDA), and the Southern Association of Orthodontists (SAO).

She is also an avid foodie, a travel enthusiast, and a loving mother to two daughters, Payton and Harper.
